ok techs what is happening?

This was my screen shot after starting truck in 15 deg weather. It has happened several times. Screen is locked to this screen. I hear noise when hit buttons but no response.

But after inside of cab warms up and I shut off truck for several minutes. I get the regular screen back and normal funtions.
Truck is a 2015 6.7 with nav, sirius radio. Any ideas?

I figured. But is anyone else had this problem? Or just me. Thought a teck might have a clue on this. Warranty time.

Hey Crystal.

The problem is you live in Michigan. It was about 75 here in California today . But it did drop to the mid 50s overnight.

Wow, so I have a 2013 C-Max that's done the same thing, twice. I have photos of both instances. Since only happening twice is 3 years I haven't even tried to hassle the dealer about it.

What Roy said: I and I'm sure many others regurlarly leave my truck outside - tonight it is below 0 - and my screen works fine- slow but it works.

I think it's broken

It could be the Captain & Tennille song you are playing on your radio. Mapping function may not have been able to handle their music.

I am no help here at all, dealer is your next stop. Plenty cold in Wisconsin and I don't plug my truck in but the radio and mapping function work fine. I don't ever play Captain & Tennille though.

have you tried to hit the master reset?

Keep that pic, they will want to see that at the dealer.

I have been in single digits and not had that problem.

Course I was not playing any Captain and Tenille either.

You would have thought Ford would have installed the Microsoft control-alt-delete button for situations like this....

Sorry...no help either.

Hey Crystal.
Hey, bigredtruckmi!

This issue would fall under the umbrella of my in-vehicle technology colleagues here on the forum: FordIVTTeam. Here's a link to their profile: Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums - View Profile: FordIVTteam Send them a PM; I know they'll be happy to help out.

Just got back from dealer. New processor and camera needed. Was giving all kinds of codes. Both are on back order. Glad was under warranty as the bill would have been around $2500 labor, and all.
