Thanks guys, i bought some yellow spray paint and made some wicked racing strips, bought a honduh muffler...boy does that sounds good...drops the panties of all the ladies at the mall. i also got some chrome spray paint and painted my shifter handle. more to come!

i tried racing a kid in a Geo Metro last night...almost beat him to...but the chrome on the shofter was blinding me by the street lights because we were going so fast that i missed a gear!

Aaand.....bent the shift fork on the high mile m5od, so now youll limp it to the farm and trash the truck, including your $1000 bling for want of a $60 fork.

To the title: 'I want a 300 hp 300 for cheap,' I would tell you what I so often told my son when he was a kid. "People in hell want ice water."

Back in the day it was rumored painting the intake manifold black was good for 20hp on a 350 Chevy. A nice set of fuzzy dice is an easy 10hp. Chrome, bare hippie footprint gas pedal, maybe 7-8. Eight track cassette tape of the Ramones first album in the old Sparkomatic is a guaranteed 30% increase.

You can also drill out the crank throws to reduce weight and increase revving ability. Ultimate sleeper trick.

Heh, so whats new guys? truck is same as pile-o-****...but i still love it. Taking off the ported intakes and 302/351 tb soon...i have an idea i hope to work on in september. (no not turbo).

Put some 35s on it and reprogrammed the speedo...gettin 12.5 mpg runnin around town. Not to shabby for the ol gal. Its a little long winded goin up them there Pa hills, so im thinkin gears are in order...maybe over the winter.

Welcome back, Opti!!

By the way, the louder your truck is, the faster it'll go!
