I would like to hear form someone that went to the 22.5 wheels that can tell us how much his rpm dropped at say 60 mph.

Rickson Truck Wheels and Accessories

Simple math, need to know tire height in inches for a given road speed.

So to update this, i went cheap and bought a set of 4 Hercules H803 traction tires for the rear. They were cheap, and boy do i regret this... I had the dealer put them on, and they said there is a lot of road force. I am getting a terrible vibration at around 40mph and 60-70mph. I just went to have them balacned today at a truck tire shop, they did it over, and the vibration is a TINY bit better maybe, but still there. I really do regret ever buying these cheap tires.... If i go and have them balanced one more time i could have already almost bought the expensive ones i was trying to avoid....

I have over 100,000 miles on my set of 6 hercules and have never had vibration issues ...I will say that the put "pads" inside the tires...they told me that's the only way to balance 19.5 in wheels

I was looking at the H902, but went with the H803 traction tire, which can be my problem....

I have heard people talk about these balancing beads, but don't know much about it.

The way it was explained to me is the pads go inside the tire and go to the part of the tire that is in need of the balance when spinning

The company I own buys tires from the Hercules distributor here in Miami, so we got them at the wholesale price, and it came out to be $174 a tire!

Weight Bags or Pads is best way of maintaining tires constantly balanced, specially dual tires. Bags are placed loose inside the tires and every time one stops, goes and gain speed, the bags move and balance the tires therefore extending the life of all tires and always giving you a smooth ride without having to ever re-balance using lead weights.
I'm a original owner of a 1999 F550 - 7.3 Power Stroke - 6 Speed Trans - Gear Vendors Over/Under Drive - 2WD - Detroit Locker Posi-Traction - 100 Gal Extra Fuel Tank and 6 Hercules tires.
Steering Tires: H-902
Drive Tires: H-803
Truck Weights 10,000lbs
I really like the tires, specially the rear H-803 when driving off road and pulling my 10,000 lb Toy Box.
