1986 E350 Fuel Not reaching Holly Carb.???
Have a 1986 E350 chassis with a 460 engine RV. It has two tanks with electric fuel pumps in each tank. At this time I can hear the pump running on the front tank. But I do not get fuel to the Carb. I pulled the line loose right before it turns up to the Carb. there seems to be very good flow at this point. Took the feed line off at the Valve were the feed and return line come together. I never get any gas at this point. Could the pump be the problem not pumping enough Psi to push the fuel up the line to this point? I have bypassed the oil pressure cut out switch. Also the rear tank I never hear the fuel pump run. When i bought the RV the gauge never worked for the rear tank, but would run on the rear tank at that time. Just made sure it had fuel in it. I haven't cranked the RV in several months but it always took for ever to start it the first time. Any help anyone could give with this issue would be a BIG help. Thanks in advance! Keith

When you took the fuel line off down low and got fuel it was more than likely a gravity flow and not pump pressure.
Sounds like two bad pumps to me.
As far as the long cranking some put a primer push button on the dash and splice into the wire coming off the starter solenoid that goes to the fuel tank selector relay and give that wire power. That way they can fill the Carb. and start right up.
