Anti Freeze Leak

All . . . . I see problems w coolant leak w the 6.7 Fords.
First off, I would suggest that the user would make sure as to what the fill level is in the coolant tank. (easy to overfill).
. . .
Then my experience . . . I had a coolant leak but could not find it. (tank on drivers side). Mechanics pressurized the tank and found a small leak from the shaft of the water pump. The mechanic said that the leak was soo small, that the fluid vaporized before it hit the ground.
. .
My mileage was a tad over 36,000 miles, but Ford fixed the leak anyway.
I like my truck. I now have almost 50,000 miles on the truck.
I just hope that my radiator blows (and ford fixes it ) before 100,000 miles.

Yea mine is leaking from the left side where the plastic side meets the core of the radiator. It drops even if I have not driven the truck for days, then it will stop then the next day a small puddle even though I haven't driven it. What do you all think of the stop leak? I don't dare use it, but a part of me is well I gotta replace it anyway I might as well try it. I'm worried it might plug something else up what do you guys think?

No stopleak! You will probably plug up the egr cooler if you do. Hopefully crystal will see your updates here.

The reason is leaks the day after is the leak is caused by the expansion/contraction at the area where the aluminum meets the plastic tank. when the engine cools, everything wants to contract, and thats when the dripping starts.

You can search the forum, one user managed to re-crimp the tabs in that location. Might help.
