Hey Guys,
I'm looking for a Short Shifter for my ZF6, anybody got any tips on where to look for one? I found one on Amazon.com but they want $261 and some change, little high I think, I know Mid West Trans used to make them but haven't heard weather they still do or not.

 

i would just take it to a shop and get them to cut it down and tread the end. should be cheaper the 260

Isn't there a short throw adaptor type thing on the market for these? I wonder if he truely wants a SHORTER shifter or just a shorter throw??

 

A short throw would be really nice on the rotator cuff.....just saying!

 

i got mine from Mid West in the spring. i think cost was about 180 or so. i just searched the web for their phone number and talked to them directly. good luck

 

The short shift kit shown on Amazon if pictured correctly WILL NOT FIT a ZF-6 ! . I drove a truck with stock shifter the other day , wow what a difference .

Yea I noticed that the one pictured was not the one I've seen for our trucks, Clay used to sell them but had a problem getting them so I think he dropped them, can't find them on his site.
