Welcome to FTE. Did you test fit the clutch disc to the transmission to make sure it fit before you installed it? Also if you replaced the clutch assembly, did you use an alignment tool for the clutch when you installed it to the flyweel? It helps a lot to use one of these tools. If the transmission shaft splines won't line up with the splines in the disc then try rotating the input shaft slightly one direction or the other to help them line up and go together. Once it starts to go in you may need to raise the back end of the trans to help it be aligned better to go all the way in. If it's not aligned really well it won't go all the way.
