Question space saver for guys with stacks

ok this area between the cab and your truck box is kinda wasted space after you put stacks on.. so what iam thinking is makeing it a box to keep chains boomers and tow strapes, and a jack... from thefrount of the bed to the truck box i have 7 and a half in.. its 4 foot long from stack to stack.. and can be 12 deep.. thats keepiny it off the y pipe by to in... was going to build a fram out of angale iron and on the sides fill it in with xpaned and the bottom metal so it wont hold water... on the top was going to use a hindge monted to the front of the bed and build a lid out of dimand plate... also cut a peace of dimand plate and run it don the back of the tool box by the y pipe and ancor it to the bed floor so nothin can get to the y pie bottles or what not... than have a space under my tool box as well.... just seeing what you all think... going to try and weld it up this weekend and will tack picks as i do so..

i did something similar to what you are talkin about. i found a toolbox that would squeeze in between the stacks at tractor supply. i love it. i did lose some toolbox space but i found everything i took out was only wasting the space

I had a truck just like yours. My brother n law ask me how I would take for it ? I told him, damn, he came up with the money. Now I have to look at it every weekend. I loved that truck.
