Now to my next problem. Went to put the Fluidamper on and the front crank bolt wont start on the thread. Looks like when they did the balancing the shop stuffed the first couple of threads. I do remember them asking for the crank bolt (which I didnt have at that stage) because they wanted to balance the crank. they must have found one of there own that wasnt quiet right.

Now I have learnt that its a M16x1.0 thread. If I get a tap for that size whats my chances of starting the thread and then picking up on the thread thats still good.

Sorry to hear the treads are bad Brain. I would be pissed off at the machine shop and say something to them! And maybe they have a tap you can use so you don't have to spend $$ to buy one. Since they are the one's that messed it up.
You might even want to take a die grinder and grind down the bad treads a little so the tap doesn't grab them instead of the good treads first. That way by the time you run the tap in to the point the tap is fatter it will clean up the bad treads. That way the treads in the crank are tappered and so is the tap you use. I hope this makes sense to you.

I have had to do this before, but in my case it was because of my own stupidity.

All good now. Ran a tap, fluidamper is on. Man trying to get 212ft/lb on that sucker without turning the engine was a real PITA.

Sorted the fuel delivery today. 3/8 fuel hose from tank to regulator.

First one is from tank to Carter 4600 lift pump then through 10 micron racor water separator.

Then from racor to Walbro

from Walbro to Stickly Diesels 2 micron post pump mounted on the bell-housing

Going to run 3/8 from Strickly's fuel bowl delete back to the tank but it looks like Im going to have to drop the tank cause the tube I will button that line up to is 5/16

Great pics! I want to do my in-tanks mod and run the same set up as in your pics.
What are you going to do to wire up your lift pump?

Earthed back to the bracket bolt on the chassis and piggy backed the positive from the main pump with an 10A inline fuse.
