The answer to this has probably been giving. I have a 1999 F250 with a npi and would like to put a newer pi motor into it. What would I need to do?

 

If its a long block then just drop it in. If it doesnt come with an intake you will need one from a PI truck to fit. It shouldnt be that hard at all

 

how do you re tune the computer to work with pi engine?

Now you got me interested ,how did your swap go ? I have the npi engine in my 99 sd and need to replace my long block and will be doing the same upgrade ,looks like you just need a pi long block and a pi intake ,and a different calibration for the pcm,or ecm? I still am researching ,got to get more power!
