I could easily Tig weld that, but I wouldn't put it back in a truck unless the whole case was sent through an oven to anneal it again. Even then, the bell housing will still likely be warped at that point.

Mine didn't come from CL but for 750 I picked up a 96 stroke 4wd 5spd. I was told that they ran gas in the motor. I don't think it is as bad as they say it is, but I am still parting out the truck and keeping what I want. Anyone in the market for a 10' flatbed? LOL

Complete truck. I just want the D60, ZF5 and transfer. Everything else is up for grabs. I will post pics when I get it home. Probably another week. We can't get to it. Out in his pasture.

i dont think that tranny would be any good. even if you get it welded its still gonna be weak in that big spot that is cracked now. i dont know how you guys drive but i know for sure that wouldnt hold up to wat i do.

It wouldnt hold up for what I do as well. I wouldnt trust it even if you threw it through an oven and TIG welded that housing. I pull a lot of weight and that would probably crack again with all the stress I put on my truck.
