What you should do is come on down to RRE at the end of July and talk directly to Jody and get it there. While your there, you will meet some of the best guys and gals in the world and have a ton of fun doing it. If you can't come, call Jody and tell him what you have and what you want to do with it, He will steer you right.

My F5 has no-start, stock, 1200rpm Hi-Idle, 40tow, decel, 60tow, 80econo. Definitely get the hi-idle and decel. I pull a 12,000lb 5'er and it holds really well on those long downgrades. Perma-Grin!!! is on its way.

The 60e (hwy eco. tune) looks good when you read about it, but I recomend you stay away from it. I got that tune and I get worse mileage with that than the 80e on the hwy with the cruise set. I got the 140 aggressive (smoke tune) I just blow smoke in it I never drive or race in it, I got the 120 for racing.

I love the Drive-Thru tune and use it all the time. Bank teller's can hear me know and it also helps when someone is standing outside your door talking to you.

I just put mine In on Wednesday I went cheap and got no start, stock, 80e, 80t. I love it, the throttle response is amazingly smoothe! It's like a new truck in comparison, it was a turd, it is now a rocket. It rolls coal bigtime! I can smoke the tires like nothing! I can't imagine what 100r or 120r would do! Can't wait till someone pisses me off in traffic and I fill there car with black smoke!

I'd recommend another tow tune, like a 40T to go with the 60T. That way you have an option other than all the way down to Stock if your EGTs get scary up a long hill. x2 on the Decel tune, it's pretty awesome. Backing off the 80E initial throttle response 25% is also a good idea. Having a quick throttle "tip in" is part of the economy strategy, but I'd prefer something more linear.
And a real tranny cooler, like a 6.0 or Tru Cool. The OEM unit is inadequate for towing, and the dash gauge is more of an idiot light than a gauge. x2 on what VegasFord said about gauges.
Lots of guys set up their truck for speed or fun, but towing is a different animal. Sounds like your tow load is not real heavy, but for a few bucks more now you can be ready for lots more weight later.
