Can the gear shift indicator light be changed for a different color or is the light bulb white and the indicator is red. Just don't like the red color and would like a more subdued green or blue. Red on the dash usually means trouble. TIA.

 

its usually the overlay over the bulb that is red. all the bulbs are white in the cluster. I guess you could try to put a different color over it usually it doesnt turn out so swell mixing with red. personally I would just pull the bulb if it bothered ya.

 

Hadn't thought about the removal option. Thanks. Most likely that is what I will do. Being an old helicopter pilot, red is out and green and blue are in.

 

Yea I agree...blue and green work alot better.... red is too angry!
