My 4sp has Reverse to the right and Up. Otherwise I'd look into that. I have one like that on the Mach. It gets hot in the Summer. LOL

Hey, put it on anyways. It'd make life a lot harder for any car thief/joyrider.

True or I could get one from a 4spd out of an early 80's mustang. Reverse was to the left and up. Knowing my luck somebody would barrow the truck and slam it into a car or tree.

4-speed-OD's reverse were up to the left and up.

4-speed "granny" were to the right and down.

I'll double check mine tonight. It's been 9 months since I drove it. Even then I only drove it for a couple months. I believe it's a T18. From the pics I have found it looks identical to it. Maybe I have a one off tranny worth $$$$ LOL

Early T18s were up, all 80-86 should be down. Chances are someone replaced your tranny with an older core.

Looks really cool, but won't feel that way after the truck sits in the hot sun all day......

I oughtta get one for M5OD in the ranger clone. OD is almost useless anyways with the 3.45 gear. A 2.3L doesn't have enough low end torque to spin at a miserly 2000 RPM @ 65 MPH......... But, on flat enough ground, it will knock down nearly 30 MPG, even with the A/C running and ethanol diluted gas in the tank.

Hopefully it's got a clear powder coating on it. I made my own billet aluminum shifter that's still raw aluminum, and it turns my right hand black on longer trips.

I guess I have an early T18. I checked last night. I do like the shift **** tho. I wonder if they would do custom orders.

I don't see why not, unless they're doing these in big batches. They still should be able to support guys with the early T-18s - there's more early than late ones, I'd imagine.

The T-18 in my old 1973 was to the right and up.

The T-18 in my fathers old 1976 was to the right and down.

The t-18 in my 1981 is to the right and down.

Etc...

I have no clue as to what year this T18 is. It is a stump puller!! Granny is Granny in it. I would imagine a granny with a walker could out pace me. LOL
