Really nice truck!

And you're sure tearing into it real quick too!

I almost had a deal like that... exactly same truck too, but up here in the rust belt and completely factory stock.

Not a single thing was changed, F250, factory topper, factory everything, and almost all options as well... but the old lady wouldn't get rid of it cause it was her late husbands from when he passed 10 years back.

yes go crossover it drives wayy batter than the stock steering. i noticed the difference right away.

You really go a great deal then, Yureka is not a fun drive especially towing something.

About your 6" Lift and D60 up front. My pitman arm hits the front drivers side spring clip when I make a hard left turn. Did you experience a similar issue and what was the fix?

im assuming you have the push/ pull steering still? mine never hit when it did i had a skyjacker drop draglink though.. If you havent done crossover steering you should it makes a big difference.

I checked that out earlier today. It looks decent and is a little cheaper than the Northwest Fab Works that I was looking at.

I noticed the other night while test fitting I may have the same issue if I decide to stay with the push/pull

i got the auto trans pulled out and im now running into a few slight it. Out of the three clutch pedal assemblys i have none of them will work with my brake booster. the brake booster i have now has a straight rod coming out which connects to the pedal itself. the pedals i have are used with a different booster that uses the linkage on the firewall. im thinking the pedals i need are 79 specific because i have them in my other 79 also. im either going to find a set of pedals or change the booster.

also the flywheel i had resurfaced and installed has 3/8 bolt holes for the clutch. well the clutch i have uses 5/16 bolts as the 3/8 wont fit in the holes. i dont want to drill the clutch as i dont know if it will affect alignment or not. i do have another flywheel with the 5/16 bolt holes i can use but thats another $40 bucks im going to have to spend to get it resurfaced.

on a side note the best thing i did was buy a hb trans jack. i welded up an old trans mount so it would saty solid and drilled for holes into the jack base and bolted it up. i pulled the trans out in a few minutes by myself with out the fear of it falling off.

I noticed your passenger side shock was relocated to the rear of the axle. I take it that's a must for crossover. I guess I'll have to add a rear shock mount since I decided to order crossover.

Hey, really like the truck. Got some questions for ya that I can't find answers to. I just recently got a 78 Scab 4x4 and want to lift it. I was thinking 4", but really like yours at 6". Did you buy a kit to do it, and if so where? Since they have the front leafs, I'm having trouble finding any info about it. Mine is just an f150 with dana 44 front / 9" rear but I'm working on getting a 250 parts truck and swapping it's 8bolt dana 44 / 60 onto mine. Can you point me in the right direction for more info?

lift was on my other truck when i bought it and i swapped it over. it was bought from 4wheel parts as a kit front and rear springs, shocks, pitman arm and adrop draglink. since you have a sc f150 which is leaf sprung it is all identical to a f250. you should have no problems bolting up the f250 axles.
