good sounding exhaust for old trucks

I have a super cab extended bed f150 with a 352 windsor aod transmission. It has a muffler on each manifold right now (stock) and I'm unsatisfied with the sound. Where should I look for a good deep classic truck sound? I'm not into straight piping, backwards glass packs or any other hash mods, because it always sounds cheap and unhealthy. I want a real hearty ford sound. Any help?

i believe flowmaster 40's would suit your needs just fine. i would search on youtube of people with them and see if that is the sound you are after.

Flowmaster 44 Series is the most agressive sounding exhaust out by flowmaster. they told me to do 3" in an 2.5 out on the exhaust. I am going to go with the Super 44 series but get the Super 44 offroad mufflers they have for bout $80 each an run dual exhaust.

Well my truck has glasspacks and it sounds pretty healthy. I get compliments at school all the time on how good it sounds. It also has long tube headers. It's pretty loud for being full exhaust and I love it.

This setup is fenderwell exit L&L headers with 3" the whole way with 40 series deltaflow flowmasters in makes enough noise i think.
