In my 95 F150 5.0 E4OD, I get a low rpm (like from a stop) bogging. Also when I get the engine in the upper rpms either by holding the shifter in a lower gear or if it's just about to upshift (and the rpms are on the high end) its got really good, smooth acceleration. If I'm just cruising at 1,100-1,300 rpms at say 40mph, I can feed in the gas pedal and nothing really happens until the pedal is depressed enough to downshift and then like I said earlier, it really goes (for a 5.0)
I've done a full tune up, Seafoamed it and did a KOER and KOEO test and all I got was a 311. The 311 was found with the KOEO test only.
I don't want to throw money at it but could the FPR be doing this with no codes besides the 311?
I had a vacuum leak but I fixed it today and it didn't help at all.
EDIT: Whenever I feel like a little hard-driving and I really "get on it" a few times, at the next stop, I hardly have any acceleration at all. Feels like a flooding carb until again, I eventually get in the higher rpms and it seems to clear out and the acceleration comes back.
Not a fan of seafoam. Try Neutra next time. Seafoam is twice as expensive but Neutra has more cleaning agents. Pint in the tank and pint in the crankcase.
