Hello I have a Ford F150 2004 5.4 Triton and the last week when I was driving to home I received the error " TRAN FAULt and the overdrive-off" in the display board, when I turn off the car and turn on the error disapear but I know that there is a problem, I went to the shop and they received the codes P1744 and P1783
P1744 TCC SYSTEM PERFORM
P1783 TRANS OVER TEMPERATURE CONDITION
They said that they need to check the trany, but looks like need to rebuild it$$. The pickup works fine I didn't notice any problems just the error in the display this only happend when I drive over the 60 miles, in the city never receive the error.
Do you have any idea what is the problem a sensor, the solenoid? please advise
