so guessing international gave me wrong oil filter

Went to my local international dealer and got oil and filter. They gave me filter with part number LUBLP2017. I told em it was for Ford 6.0. So what's correct number I need from em? Or do I just return and get filter from somewhere else?

Did you specify the VT275 engine? If not, you got the wrong filter.

The VT275 is the INTERNATIONAL "small truck" version of the VT365 w/ six cylinders instead of 8 - downsized by International. The fuel filters for this VT275 engine EXACTLY MATCH our 6.0L engine filters!!! If you specify fuel filter for the VT365 (even though this is actually the Ford 6.0L full size International 8 cylinder engine), it will be one filter AND, the wrong one at that. They will give you a Luberfiner filter, not Racor if you ask for a VT365.

Thank you. One quick question...I know 95% guys here use Rotella oil. What's your thoughts or ever use Mobil Delvac 1300?

Thanks Mark, I was thinking there was a recent change in the filter & part number. But I didn't have it with me, was limited on what I could do when I posted my first message using the iPhone.
