93 ABS Issue--Slightly urgent:)
93 Bronco 5.8 E4OD
My nephews rig, called me and said his brake light and ABS are on. So i checked the fluid and it was a bit low and the plunger was stuck down--fixed-
No big deal there well i pulled the drums off to check the brakes and they were pretty warn so I replaced all the hardware shoes and drums.
Brake light is off now, ABS light is still on so I ohmed the ABS sensor on the rear diff and got 1400 ohms. According to Haynes if its more than 2500ohms its bad so I should be ok there.
The 93 bronco shifts hard, odometer works fine.
I pulled the ABS sensor out and its clean and is not damaged. I also double checked the ohms on the ABS sensor of my 92 ( which shifts and runs great and has no lights and they ohm the same at 1400)
So I jumped the ABS connector (pins E and B) under the hood at the red abs diagnostic port and with the key on I get 6 flashes followed by 3 flashes (which never repeated, I had read it would contunually repeat the codes but it only flashed them once). In the world of ABS codes (and haynes manual) gives me a --Code 9-- which is an open Abs sensor.
I visually checked the wiring and see no issues, is there a check or some specs I can be testing with my voltmeter at the WIRING of the ABS sensor?
Anyway he needs his bronc back as soon as I can get her whipped, starts summer school monday and needs transportation, Also I need this rusty thing out of my garage, haha. Other than that im pretty baffled... any ideas?

One more thing, I asked my nephew if it had any problems other than the dash lights that were on?
He said one day it didnt want to accellerate and his speedometer quit working, he shut off the bronco and restarted and everything went back to normal. Has not happened since and that was a week ago. Obviously there is a connection...
