By the way, I think my stepson Randy will ride down with me. He is back in a Ford (he bought an 87 F150 4x4). Ryan and John met him at the last gtg.

 

Well if the lords willing I will be there... However I traded the truck off for a mustang. I am a ford truck guy but the V6 5speed and the 27+mpg hwy was the sweet deal i needed. I will get a truck when the economy stablizes and i can afford it. I grew up in lexington so i know where both places are at. btw they build a sonic on winchester road not maybe a half mile from buds just wanted to through that out there in case you guys didn't know. it's in between Exhaust pro and Thortons.

poor dumplin thats true but i was spending a huge 200-250 dollars a month in gas and still was not able to make ends meet. so something had to give. thats alright it's still a ford. Might bring my wife but i don't trust her with a gun. she might bust a cap in my ***.

 

well depending on what day possible, but i will need help sadly as im still in the process of getting a job so fuel/gas prices are my concern) tho i could make it there and back...would be best if we could try for Louisville but if Lex is the closest ill see what i can do, my B-day is comming up in 8 days (from date of this post on 7/20) so ill have some $$ coming from the grand parents so that would help some, would need to talk to my buddy Doug as he may or may not come. but i really hope i can meet other people and maybe get some ideas and help on some projects i have in mind for my truck Sandy

when are we going to meet? (day and time) as I will want to come if i can, and meet you guys, granted Lex will be hard on the girl but i feel confident she can do it, may have to stick to the back roads some what but should be possible...assuming ill be able to fill the tanks up for the run

PS: i also am in favor of setting up multiple meets as well

 

My fuel bill is closer to $600 a month...And that's just driving to work alone....If I go anywhere else, I tack it on extra....

And yeah John....I wouldn't trust anything that bleeds 5-7 days an doesn't die, either...

 

depending on how much i drive the truck i can easaly see $110+ for the truck...partly why i may consider a diesel conversion...but what day/time is the meet, or have i missed it? i think Lex i could possibly make with a little help and money permitting

 

The meet is this saturday at noon. We are meeting at the sonics drive-in on new circle road in Lexington.

If you come to the meet you will meet Buck, he converted my old bronco to diesel and has since got a new body for it.

 

well hopefully i can, i would love to do diesel for my truck, i think it would help hehe, now i just hope money permits it as i kinda hate to ask for help from others and have no way to really give back but who knows!

 

well looks like ill be able to come so YAY!! now to figure out how to get the gas in the tanks to get there LOL!!! but all i need is a phone number of a person i can get ahold of if needed for the meet and greet and an address of where to meet (only been to Lex twice)

ok cool man, ill be leavin here about 10 ish, assumeing my truck wont get above 55-60MPH for most of the trip lol!

 

I'm planning on leaving around the same time. Depending upon whether my wife is going or not. We have to take the baby to our sitter if she is going. Too hot to let him tagalong he wasn't scared or showed any reaction the last time he was at a gun range.

 

cool, well i have your number in my phone if i need to call ya for anything! but i can't wait to meet some fellow members, maybe get some insight as to why my ABS light is coming on...would like to have it fixed for the trip so i can set cruise and just go...but oh well...on a happy note ill be bringing my camera so we can get pics of the people that come to the meet and greet, as well as the trucks!!! lol, can't wait to see some other trucks and show mine off a bit

 

Can't wait for saturday guys! Ryan, I will be leaving here about 10 as well. You may pass me though lol. I only get her up to 55mph even out on I75! So no laughing at the old girl or I might have to park on top of you jk LOL.
