've owned this Mustang since the Fall of 2007, I traded my 89 K5 for it so I had a vehicle that would fit on a U-haul trailer to tow behind my dually.

It's been good to me, especially considering the miles.

As the car sits right now, it has an issue with the passenger axle shaft. I think either the shaft or flange is bent, or it needs new bearings. I originally thought somehow the drum warped. I installed all new hardware, shoes, and drum and it still wobbled. Tore it back down to the hub and the hub itself was wobbling. It's still driveable, and you can't even feel any vibrations from it... but I expect it will wear through rubber real quicklike.

I can source an axleshaft for $75 from the local JY, or a complete rear end for $150. I just really don't have the time to do anything with it this summer. During the week, I'm 2 hours away, and come home on the weekends.

The interior is in okay shape. Carpets and upholstery could use a thorough steam cleaning. The dashpad is in great shape. Passenger door handle cup trim is broken on the bottom, but present. Driver door handle cup trim is AWOL, and there is a tear in the doorpanel.

This car was in a wreck in the Fall of 2008. A Honda Civic ran a red light and the Mustang ate it in the driver's wheel. An aftermarket fender was used as a replacement. A new strut was installed. I still have all the paperwork from this incident.

I normally keep a little notebook in my vehicles to write down all my fillups and repairs in. Below is a transcription of the Mustang's history (no, I didn't keep any receipts). Anything in italics is work I did, but forgot to write down in the book. Oil changes were either with Purolator/Motorcraft or Wix filters, and either Castrol or Mobil 1 5W-30

Other known issues:

The tach only works for the upper 2/3rds of its range.
Hood latch cable sheathing is cracked... a bit of a pain to open the hood sometimes.
Coolant resevoir is cracked in the middle.
A/C is still R-12. I works, but could use a recharge (or an R-134a conversion).
Power locks don't work, possibly a bad switch... I've never bothered to investigate it.

I can also dig up pics of the wreck if needed.

This car also comes with a set of 15" alloy pony wheels and some worn out BFG knockoffs. I can have pics for the wheels and tires next weekend.
