I totally comdemn any form of drinking and driving.
Drinking is part of the reason dad no longer is allowed to drive. Me and my sister made a judgement call. He wouldn't quit drinking and then trying to drive, so we took the truck and parked it. He drinks even more now.....
His driving was getting bad enough without the booze, but the booze pushed it too far.
These days, he even runs into/over stuff with his powerchair. Partly due to booze, partly due to barely being able to see.....
Ironically, his health is rather poor from having been hit head-on by a drunk, running from the law.....
I said that, to make this point. Anyone, regardless of fortune or fame, that gets behind the wheel after having more than a single *casual* drink, and then crashes into anything/anyone else, deserves whatever the law throws their way.
When I say *casual* drink, I'm talking about one consumed at a liesurely pace, and allowed to pretty much be totally metabolized out of the system prior to undertaking any other activity. IE, a drink over dinner, followed by an hour or more of time to pass while remaining away from a motor vehicle in any kind of operational capacity.
There's nothing wrong with having a casual drink/beer. But, any more than that, and you better have another way home. That's my opinion, and I'll stand by it.

Not to be the sadistic person but i would hate to be the person reading Dunn's Euology at the funeral service. If they listed any of his jack*** moments I am pretty sure that would make for a ackward service. Point Blank he was a dumb*** and he killed the poor person who got into the car with him. I Honestly think he got what he deserved. If you drink and you drive you deserve what you get. I feel absolutely confident that he deserves nothing less but to be remembered as the dumbA** or died a JackA**.
