I sent Clay a message about it so he can change it out for the next person. Is some one there to process orders for clay?
Thanks Shawn I will fix that. I appreciate the heads up.

Yes use 4 gallons but it has to be concentrate then top off with water. If you use the 50/50 mix you won't get a proper 50/50 mix because there will be about 1 gal of water left in the system that you can't get out. I would try to find a good concentrate elc. Here is some info Stewart posted. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...formation.html

I think there is some kind of flush additive but don't remember the name. Check with Ford if no one has the info.

You might be thinking of Simple Green, I think I've heard of some of the 6.0 guys using that to wash their coolant systems. IDK for sure but check on the 6.0 forum they have plenty of chances to get good at cleaning out their engines...lol

What cj45lc mentioned in an earlier post - VC9 - It is a Motorcraft product for flushing/cleaning the cooling system. That's another product the 6.0 guys use.

Well, I was up at Ron's (Luny1) cabin this weekend and we discovered that WE are going to have to do cups on his truck. Can't wait for Clay to get back so we can make our order!

At least you will have the newest tools from Clay.

That saves a couple of hours.

Say HI to Tamara for me.

I think there might be some new tunes and single shots involved, too.
I'm looking at a few different options........

I've never heard of running simple green to flush out the coolant system. You do that to get all the diesel out?

What could happen if you keep driving with diesel leaking into the coolant?
What causes the cups to leak?
(sorry if I'm hijacking)

That sounds like a good plan.

More accumulation of fuel in the cooling system and the injector will eventually fail.

A cup can crack crack from overheating or not being installed properly. Retaining compound not correctly applied or breaking down (if fuel is leaking past cup and not through a crack). Or deterioration of the cup.
