2001 Lincoln navigator AC help

I just bought a one owner 2001 lincoln navigator a couple of months ago with 49,000 miles and it is like brand new! with it getting warmer here in oregon I decided to test out the ac today but it would just blow the same temp as the air out side (about 70-75) I could not here the compressor kick on so I looked under the hood and it was not running (clutch) I shut it off and tried to spin it with my hand and it spinned freely. I then checked all the fuses related to the ac and they were all fine, so then I did the eatc self test and no codes came up. does it just sound like it needs a recharge? if it did not have enough refrigerant would the compressor not kick on? anything else I should check? I did drive it around for about 20 minutes with the ac turned up all the way and that did nothing

I would suspect that you've lost most/all the system charge, but you would need to know the system pressures to know for sure. Don't just try to add refrigerant!
If the issue is not related to the refrigerant level, you risk overcharging the system.

Briefly jump the Low Pressure Cutout Switch connection (on the accumulator). The compressor should engage. If so, the likely cause is low/no system charge.
If the compressor doesn't engage, then you likely have an electrical issue.

If you have lost the system charge, you will need some specialized equipment to find the leak and properly evacuate and charge the system.

where is the low pressure fill plug on the navigator? I may just buy a gauge and do that as I dont thin I want to mess with electrical stuff on this vehicle.
