Oil leak found...
My truck has been leaking oil for about a year or so now. Not a lot but a few drips after long drives on the driveway. At first i thought the main seal was leaking and thought i would wait to fix it. well after i de-greased the oil pan and frame area and let it dry. i drove it around for about an hour. no drips hanging off the inspection plate but i did see fresh oil coming from what i guess is the oil pressure censor ? it's a wired censor the screws in to the top of the oil filter mount. anyone know this area ?? what should i look for ?? I need to clean that area good now so i can see exactly where its coming from.. But it looks like it coming from the threads.. Im thinking i can remove and Teflon tape the threads ???

Well this leak turns out to be the oil filter it's self . everything is dry but the top of the filter and is wet all the way down on one side. Fixed.
I read somewhere about the ccv mod i think its called..
reading some post's on here about oil leaks i found out today that the back of the top cover under the turbo has a puddle of oil. i think i remember reading something about an o ring ?? anyone have info on this..
