Need a pic of a F350 5.8/manual exhaust pipe routing

I'm trying to get enough of the exhaust system attached to my truck so I can fire up the swapped in engine. My truck is a F250 but I'm trying to use the exhaust down pipes from a +8600 GVW truck ( it's what I had available to use), I can't figure out if the pipes should go under the trans. cross member ( closer to the ground) or over top of it ( closer to the floor boards) the pipe I have doesn't seem to fit very well in either direction, so some help on how it's supposed to mount would be a big help to me. Thanks!

The y-pipe goes over the top of the cross member, closer to the floorboard, just like the under 8500 GVW trucks.

It's not a Y pipe, it's 2 individual pipes that go (went) to a rectangle shaped flange to the cat.

It's still referred to as a y-pipe in my book. I had that twin pipe contraption on my 1992 F350 w/5.8L engine. It now sports a fancy Bassani stainless steel y-pipe.

Think I have pics up of mine up on here. let me find the thread. And your right its separate head pipe's to one flange not a Y pipe.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...0&postcount=51 Here is a link to the single post with pics. Bumped the full thread also. Comes over the top of cross member then drops down to where the cat once was. PITA to get it up in there if you don't remember how it came out. IIRC - lift the flange over the member and push it all toward the rear end to start. Then bring it up to the manifolds pulling it back to the front.
