Local U pull it J'yard, came out of a nearly frontless 1997 F250, no visible signs of anything wrong with the engine or transmission. There were two 96 F150's next to it, both with mass-air, one was a 351, the other a 302. There was a 98 5.0 Explorer on the next row. Wishin I was thirty years younger now, I'd go pull all three. The one I got was enough of a fight in the 90* heat and it was nearly ready to pull when I found it. All we had to do was cut a few wires and the fuel lines and unbolt the mounts. We ended up having to pull the shifter stub too, to get the bell housing past the motor mount perches. Probly gonna sell the ZF and keep the 351 for later use. Total price outta the gate was $323

That's an excellent score. I can't imagine not using a roller block 351 nowadays, as they even have the extra material cast in to accept machining of the early clutch equalizer bar pivot ball stud (unlike 5.0 engines).
The junkyards around here don't have these engines or even Explorer V8s often, but at least it's only 62 degrees outside today, so pleasant working weather.
