Alright guys I'm slowly adding up the parts for my build. I'm doing everything starting at cleaning up the oil soaked engine bay. But here is the list of things to be completed. Replace turbo pedestal o rings, Terminator T500 HPOP, Fuel bowl delete with special kit (see link at bottom of post), Electronic fuel pump conversion, pre and post fuel pump filters, new banks cold air intake (to broke for the intercooler haha), and new turbo compressor wheel. I still have to get the hpop but everything else is on its way. This will be the most in depth work I have done on the truck. So any advice before I start tearing down here in the next few weeks?

how much is that guys fuel line setup?

 

He charges $165 for that kit. He also gave me quite a few ideas on filter/pump assemblies and some helpful links on where to get different fittings if I wanted to get a little more in depth. He seems to be legit. Payment is done via paypal.

But one of my questions is how hard is it to pull the turbo and rebuild it? I had planned on gutting the pedestal while I had everything stripped.

 

That is a pretty slick e-fuel set up in the video. I have seen some of his videos and he is a pretty smart guy.

 

That is a very nice looking kit. I like that price as I bought an aeromotive regulator and its not cheap.

My only issue is reusing the stock size fittings and lines...for a stock or mild hp combo I would see no problem. If you are thinking in the long term of going big I would go bigger now.I tend to go bigger than I prob need.that's just how I roll lol

 

I think for stage 1 injectors and a small turbo upgrade the stock fittings will be more than enough since I will be running around 65 psi from the fuel block. But I don't have many "big" plans for it..... yet! And if it wasn't for an oil leak coming out of the valley I probably wouldn't have even bothered with this build yet.

 

Turbo rebuild is cake lol hard part is up pipes... I have a thread "my bellows and turbo rebuild thread" has some info on it

This sounds very much like what I would like to do to my truck in the future. I'm sub'd and watching this one.

 

The only thing I don't like about the e-fuel set up is you don't have the ability to adjust the fuel pressure. With a separate regulator you can adjust the fuel psi and set it at whatever you want.

 

And that would be a problem?, or is it very necessary? and from what to what range? IDK. Im asking because Id like to install one of that kits and go to Stage I sticks.
