Going from 4 inch lift to leveling kit
Hey all, Ive got a 2000 f350 with a 7.3 and a 4 inch skyjacker kit.
Im running 315/75/16s and theres just too much lift on the truck for the size tires for me and I would like to move to a leveling kit. What all would i need? Obviously a leveling kit, but what stock components do I need?
just a track bar bracket and sway bar links?
Id really like to just lower the truck an inch or so in the front and two in the back.

I'm not familiar with that kit, so I can't say for sure, but you might want to also post down in the 7.3 section just in case you're lucky enough to have a fellow forum member close by who would be willing to just swap parts with you.
Did the lift in front use springs or shackles to raise it? If springs, you'll need stock springs. Does the track bar have a bolt on bracket attached or is it adjustable? Depending on what you have, you may or may not have to deal with it. Do you have a drop pitman arm installed? Watch the steering linkage to see if that needs to be changed back.
If the rear was done with blocks, it may be as simple as getting new shorter blocks and new u-bolts. Hopefully you don't have stacked blocks, but if you do, just remove the smaller one (new u-bolts is still a good idea).
