I just purchased a 93 f250 7.3 idi and I was wondering what your guys opinion is on turning up the injection pump. It has stacks and blows some smoke now but i would like more.

 

if u dont have a pyrometer dont mess with it u risk melting ur motor

 

ok i do plan on installing a pyrometer in the future but maybe i'll hold off on the pump until then. thanks

 

you probably already know this but just to through it out there black smoke is just un-burnt fuel and the more of that you have the more $$$ go right out those pipes... but like joe said you might wanna wait till you get the pyro to keep the pistons safe

 

oh yes please, make those EPA *******s crack down on our old trucks more, please! It would be so nice of you haha.
