Seen those new ram commercials?

So I was watchin the tube, seen the commercial for the new ram heavy duty boasting claims of best in class towing with 22,700 lbs, but the superduty advertises 24,400lbs. Am I missing something here, or are the dodge folks just silly?

They must figure that most people don't know what they are seeing. Just like the movies and tv when they do things that you know just aint right but people are to dumb to know it lol!

I saw that one too, all the non dodge vehicles! I just found it real silly seeing that commercial and knowing its wrong about the towing. People will believe anything they see on tv!

You have to hand it to them, it's a good commercial.

I think that loader is a Case 921E, and they have Cummins QSX11's in them. I am sure Chrysler would use a Case product in their commercials, Case is a Fiat Group company.

Just be glad they didn't show a Ford F-750! I really wish Ford would choose another engine for the 650 and 750. Not that there is anything wrong with Cummins, it's just embarassing.

There will be a Ford engine in the 2012 medium duty F-series, the 3V 6.8l backed by the 6R140 auto. From what I'm seeing the 6.7l Cummins engine will still be offered in varying power levels from 200hp to 300hp.

This might not be ram related but it is Dodge related. How about the Durango commercial where it's pulling the Explorer? So dumb! You can tell they're not trying in the Explorer and it's prob the 4 cyl chained to Dodge's Hemi! Ford doesn't have a v8 in the Explorer now. Only 4 cyl and 6 cyl. Just a bad commercial. I wish they wouldn't lie!

Maybe if it wouls have an ecoboost engine in it. Really is a stupid commercial, but I sure cant see an N/A 3.5 Explorer coming close to dragging the Hemi Durango. I mean really, the Explorer is a big crossover now, transverse engine and all. It would be like a Honda Ridgeline dragging an F150, not going to happen.

The new Explorer is basically a slightly larger Edge, it is a waste to even have it in the lineup. Ford will probably make the Expedition fwd next.
