I have not known them to be side specific, if they were they would be marked R or L on the top or bottom.
Anyways watch the video on this link... Lincoln Navigator Air Suspension Conversion Kit | Suspension Experts ...mind you they are trying to sell you a conversion kit, so of course they are giving you the bad case scenerio aspect. But they do give you an insight to the Navigator load leveling system you are asking about. I personally love my load leveling on my XP and wouldn't trade it.
