Truck is dead, no power

Ok, so I may have 2 unrelated, but possibly related problems. About a week ago it started snowing on my way home so I turned my rear wiper on to get the snow off. It was working fine, however, when I got home I noticed it was no longer working. I didn't think anything of it, not really a big deal since I rarely use it anyway. Well, 2 days later I went out to start my truck and click-click-click...nothing. So, we bought a new battery since the truck still had the original battery in it. Put new battery in on Friday. Ran just fine all day..Saturday morning started right up and was fine. Now today (Monday) I go to start it and nothing, absolutely NOTHING..not even click-click-click. We were thinking maybe alternator since my truck has been making humming sounds for about a month that get louder as I accelerate..which we replaced the alternator last year. However, my truck has been on the charger for over 5 hours now and it still wont start..not even clicks. So Im not sure what is going on???? ANY IDEAS????

Rear wiper motor siezes and the motor tries to "seat" it back to the spot it should go

It does not return and kills the battery in a few hours!

Check that, charge you battery first!

We had the charger on the battery for last 5 hours. Charger shows it is charged but truck is still completely dead. No power.

He isn't asking you. It's funny you are dispensing wisdom on how to address battery drain in this thread, yet asking how to fix battery drain in the thread you started.

I told you how to investigate it and so did alloro - pull the fuse. It will take about 5 minutes of work and a night of waiting. The OP here would be well served by pulling the fuse also, and I'd swap that battery out. It isn't unheard of to have a bad battery out of the box and the drain that wore it down might have been just the thing it needed to kill it. Also worth looking at the terminals - make sure they are clean and the cables are firmly tightened.
