My cousin was nearly drowned by a fish while noodling. He's 6'5" and weighs about 330 and got a hold of a fish he couldn't pull out of 3 feet of water. IIRC, he had been trying to get it out for a while and it finally swallowed his hand and he couldn't get loose. I think the fish died and he was able to get out of the creek. He lives in Pawnee and still noodles.

bump. I've got the *itch* again. No, not that itch. I've got the itch to try my hand at noodling. Weird....it seems that everytime i catch a rerun of the Okie Noodling documentary that i can't stop watching and end up with the urge to go noodling. I can't believe i've lived in this state for the past 13 years and don't know any noodlers?
I'm tempted to put a sign up on the picture pin board in the sporting goods section of Walmart. You know that pin board that people post pics of their fish or hunts. Maybe i can put a small sign requesting someone to take me noodling? lol.
