Cruise Control Fuse?

I believe it is #12 in the engine compartment (drivers side). Mine quit a few months ago and it was the clockspring. About $80.00 at dealer. It also fixed me airbag light that was on at the same time. Some say your horn will not work if the clockspring is bad. but my horn worked so go figure.

Thats how mine quit after I stopped for food. I did nothing about it for a month or two and the abs light came on. It could also be the switch on the end of the master cylinder it is about $20.00 at the dealer. There are two it is the one closest to the end or front of truck. I replaced it first and did not fix for me though but has for some it is a cheaper place to start.

don't have a part number but many have said after replacing the deactivate switch on the master cylinder it solved the problem. no you do not have to drain it you will get a little fluid out when you pull it out and if you put the new one in right away you will be ok. Like I said that did not solve my problem had to change the clock spring and that takes about an hour to do just use caution when removing the air bag. There is a procedure for doing that.

First off, there is no fuse for the cruise control on a 6.0L. The cruise is entirely a function of the PCM.
Second, follow the diagnostic in the link below and report back. There are two switches, the Brake Pressure Switch on the master cylinder, and the Brake Pedal Position switch on the brake pedal that can both fail and cause problems with the cruise control. The clock spring can fail, and the cruise buttons can fail. Following the diagnostic will help identify the problem.
