Are you using sythetic or just standard?

I run full synthetic on all my rides and usually just do a filter change with oil top off at 3k mile intervals and a full oil change at 9k.

What is a good weight and type? I have 108000 miles on mine now. I will do all my oil changes myself and don't really care the cost of oil and filters because I want to keep this EX for a long time so I want to be sure it is well lubricated.

Also, depending on what the dealership might of used and what you recommend, is it ok to switch if it is a harsh change, (like standard to synthetic).
A 6 liter V-10? .....................Don't worry about mixing oils and how is is out of control? tdappleman's post was very informative.

Yes V10 6.8L. I know tdapplemans post was informative. It was all the posts before that where it seemed the thread was getting off track.

So we are leaving on vacation tomorrow and I checked the EX's oil yesterday and I am a quart low so I guess I am going to do a full oil change since I don't know what was used.

I just don't know whether to use sythetic or standard. I have always ran standard so I might stick to that.

Here is where I'd say go to Walmart, and get some MC 5w20, and they should have a MC oil filter as well. Probably end up costing about 20 bucks for everything.
