is this a 2wd or 4wd? what size tires are you running and what gears are currently in the truck?
Exhaust is a great place to start to upgrade at. the new hi flow cats are designed to replace the dual cat systems. just dont run pipe larger then 2.5" dia. a good tune up with some ford wires, cap/rotor and motorcraft copper plugs. a timing bump a few degrees wouldnt hurt either.

I stripped everything off the front of motor. Crank pulley turns a Taurus Alt. and a water pump ( minus the clutch fan ). Electric fan took it's place. That's it. Blocked off E.G.R. The tube from E.G.R. down to the exhaust pipe is gone and there is a hole where that tube met the pipe. Kinda like an exhaust relief. M.S.D. 8.5 MM wires. Accel 48,000 volt coil. Aluminum wheels. Lots of unbridled power.

The 300 doesnt move much air. The KN intake and especially the TB spacer are not helping anything. The factory intake is already a cold air intake and flows more than enough for the big I6.
You could run a nice flowing single 2.5 inch exhaust with a high flow cat and a straight through or turbo muffler.
Your best option is really fresh fluids and filters and a good complete tune up (which is more than plugs and cap rotor) and maybe a new O2 sensor.
The stock tires were not 30 9.50, they were 235 75 15. I'm not knocking the tires though. Thats a good size tire to run. I like 31 10.50 too. Definitely don't go with a bigger tire or performance will suffer as a result.
What size lift do you have, hopefully its a 4 inch. I would not run bigger than 33s with the I6. With that I would go with 4.10 gears. What transmission?
Whatever you do, don't buy any type of chip. That is just flushing money.

ive been thinkin bout an exhaust for it. i wanna get the clifford headers for it but idk if there worth the money but im deffinitatly gettin the high flow cat and putting a y pipe on it and run straight duals on each side infront of the rear wheel with a 4 inch tip. i have a 3in body lift and a front leveling kit i got new tires from wal mart (lol) there the goodyear wranglers size 31x10.5 but once carisle truck nationals comes around im gonna get some 33s and new wheels.

It already has a split exhaust manifold. The headers will not likely help all that much since the six doesn't move all that much air to begin with. The headers would probably only be beneficial with some internal engine work.
By the way, its not considered straight duals unless it is true dual with no muffler or cat. Your going to run just a cat and no muffler? That won't sound spectacular on a six cylinder. It will sound like a ricey tractor. Consider a single in dual out muffler or at least a torpedo pack glasspack with a Y on it.
I would run both pipes on the passenger side infront of the tire like the gen 2 Lightnings. That way you don't have to have a pipe crossover to the other side where the front tank is. I have seen that done quite a few times and it looks great, but use 3 inch slash cut tips and have them angled at 45s so the tips are flush with the bed side.
I have my exhaust exiting out the same side behind the rear tire. I just had it redone with 3x12 tips, and really like how this looks.
If you are going to run 33 inch tires, I would go with 3.73 gears since you have a 300 and a standard transmission.
Here is my buddy's with side exit in front of the tire. The tips are 3x16 inch.
