351W HO Intake Swap ??? EGR to Non EGR
Forgive my lame question I typically don't work on motors this new. I just picked up an 86 F350 with a 351W HO. The truck sat for sometime so the current 4 barrel carb is toast. I have a brand new Edelbrock 650cfm carb which I plan on using with an edelbrock performer series intake. I dont plan on running the current EGR stuff thats on the motor. Is there anything special I'll need to due to make the switch to non-egr? The intake I have came off an older 80-81 351W with a 4 barrel edelbrock

There's not much difference between the Edelbrock Performer and the Ford 4bbl intake so you may want to consider saving yourself the hastle and just swap the carb. Nothing special needed to delete EGR on this motor either, replace the valve with a blockoff plate and cap or remove any associated vacuum lines.
