start load testing the circuits with a high beam lamp.

Lol cheezit if I knew what that meant, I'd be all over it. Like white on rice!

hook a socket with a high beam lamp up as a load to ground . take the other end of the cirucit and hook it to b+ to complete the circuit. the lamp should glow and not flicker at all.

Question:

If my turbo was leaking oil into the intercooler. Oil gets into intake. Would it kill injector #1 over and over?

FICM looks great

Slight chance FICM harness was a little loose. But maybe not. All the pins are fine Reinstalling. And will make sure it's on tight.

Lol. Ok just wondering.

Buy if FICM looks good and injector was only a couple hours Old , that would make me think wiring issue? Or
Could the FICM or PCM be messed up from using an SCT sf3? It's been on stock since I got the injector installed.

not a pcm issue. could be a bad driver in the ficm. another thing you can try is move the injector harness and plug a good circuit in and rerun the buzz test. basicly try and move the problem.

I see one FICM harness had the repair plastic cover. The other two don't. Hmmm

Harnesses look fine.
Hooked everything back up. Start not too bad. Took it for a drive.

Icp is 0.9 volts at hot idle
Ipr is .22 at hot idle

After running around the block the lope came back. But not as rough as yesterday. My installer of the motor says it's the 190s and they are no good. Should just use stock injectors.

Oh boy, what fun!

190 is a hugh injector. you can get all you need or want from a set of 155cc

He said it's the injectors. If I switch all to stock he said should be good. But im hesitant to see that working. Doesn't seem logical. Unless that new injector failed in 8hrs?

That's entirely possible depending on who rebuilt the injectors. Most aftermarket performance injector builders don't have the same level of quality control as production stock rebuilders.

If you think it's electrical, unplug the suspect injector electrical connection, and use one from the next closest, as cheezit suggested. See what happens during a buzz test then.

Another option is to swap the suspect injector to another hole to see if the fault follows it .

don't the wires have to go to certain injectors, or it's ok to just narrow it down?
