Wink Lets see your Radios & Suggestions, comments

I have basicly given my Great Niece my original am/fm/cassette/cd player unit from my '99 F350 for her '04 Ranger because her cd player didn't work.
I am looking at/for suggestions for a nice replacement for mine.
I was thinking about just going to a 6 disc changer (in dash) (factory) and ran an ad in the classifieds for one.
Then I started thinking about a nice aftermarket unit possibly with built in GPS........I'm open to suggestions and comments as long as it DOES NOT require modification to the dash to install. Thanks!!

Look for a thread called "new tunes" several of us have a pioneer DVD touch screen that fits pretty good and works well. I have the 3200BT. That thread has some pics from other people.

X2.. lots of good info in there. I went with Pioneer 4200DVD (adding GPS later). I love it!

The Bluetooth works great! I mainly wanted Bluetooth and a backup camera. I have a garmin so don't need gps. Aldo I though the motorized screen on the 4200 was just another thing to break.

I have lowered the screen once to see how it worked. I mainly got it because of the rear USB so I could run a hidden cord.

my dad just installed a single din with a 7" screen. its detachable full face, it doesnt suck into the unit like the other styles, this one just clips on. less moving parts, less to break. price is right too. unit, installed with navigation was 500 bucks.

Amazon.com: Farenheit TID-702NRB A/V Source Unit w/ 7" Touch Screen & Bluetooth: Electronics

I like mine as well. Just doesn't play streamed audio from your phone over the BT link. I REALLY wanted that capability, and didn't realize it didn't support it until after I installed it. If you want that, look for a different model, but to be honest, with the secondary channels available with the HD tuner I added, I have yet to feel the need run Pandora. I HIGHLY recommend the HD add-on if you're doing it. VERY pleased with it. Oh, and the BT hands-free interface with the phone is very nice, even as loud as my truck is.

EDIT: Here's mine:
