summers here and my a/c isnt working right

summers here and my a/c isnt working right

for some reason my a/c keeps blowing out the top where the defrost does no matter what setting i have it on. whats up with this?

Check the white vacuum line that runs insde the cab. It should be on the passenger side, underneath the hood. You will see like a a little vacumm modulator, that is attached with the white vac line, very far corner on the pass. side underneath hood. See if that white vac line is brittle. Sorry no picture's to show you, but very easy to find.

i replaced that line with a rubber hose because it was brittle. ill check all the lines to make sure their all still attached but could it be that modulator?
