Is there an actual VP gasket set that is all-inclusive for FE engines?

Don't quite know what you mean rockitt.

On another note. Here's a sad sight.
Checked the outboard head bolts and they are tight as a tick so I'm gonna pull the motor and do it right.

Went online looking for a full engine overhaul gasket set from VR (ie oil pump, pan, intake, head, valve cover, dist, water pump, et al) rather than trying to piece together from various sources. Could not find a set. Something that compares to Fel-Pro FS8554PT

I'm going to go with SCEs gasket set.
I don't know if you guys know but my brother owns SCE and SPM gaskets.
BTW their online catalog has a full FE gasket set.
They are making a big push to try and help FE guys.
Now you're prolly wondering "why oh why Marc did you not use your brothers free/good gaskets when you put your engine together?
Well, my builder (that used to work at SCE) used FelPros because he could get them quick and finish my engine.
Let this be a lesson to all that would hurry instead of waiting to get what you really want.
I'm paying for that decision right now.
Lesson learned.

Noooooooo! Sorry to hear that Marc, that's a real bummer. You'll get her fixed better than new and then maybe make another video!

Oh man....

Sorry to hear it. Wish I was close enough to come help ya. Seriously. Of course what I call help is really just drinking your beer and telling you what a great job you're doing. But I'd tell a bunch of funny stories and keep ya entertained.

Update time.
The eagle has de landed.
I'm taking this as a chance to do things I was to impatient to do the first time, like 3g, new power steering pump, etc.
Took the engine back to Dustin. I'll go up and we'll pull it apart next week.
Can't wait to see whats wrong.
On the good side, the exhaust ports are nice and dry and the plugs are perfect so it runs great. Just have to find the damn oil leak.

Hope all goes well on the teardown Marc and it turns out to be something relatively minor.
Keepin' my fingers crossed.
Good luck.

Hopefully its an easy fix and you can get her back on the road soon. It is nice to have another vehicle to drive for work and other things in the mean time so you don't have to rush.

But then again I know how it feels not to drive the dent......

Hi my name is "Your Name here" and I'm a Dentaholic.

I'm still good for that 3g spacer. Just let me know what size bolt and length you need.

Plus same as above. I hope it's a minor issue. Well besides pulling the whole tamale.

Update time again.
I pulled the heads off today and the head gaskets were fine, actually, very fine. Crap.
Pressurized the oil passages in the block with oil then air. No leaks. Yay
The problem is,,,,,where the heck is the leak.
Taking the heads in for pressure check next week.
On the positive side of things, the mechanicals all look great. The plugs are perfect.
It runs great.
Where's the leak?
