It's everything I wanted.
It lugs real well and it has no idea what a hill is. It has so much torque you can let the clutch out at idle in 2nd gear and it'll roll away. Freakin' awesome.
Stab the go pedal and hold on.
The glass packs are perfect for me. I can make them real quite or stab it and listen to the music.
Also installed a fan shroud for the first time since I've had it and I can't get the thing to heat up at all even just sitting and idling.
Only problem so far is an oil leak from my sender.
Oh, and I have to bend the twin tc sticks a bit to clear the main shifter.
All in all, money and time well spent.
BTW,,, GREAT freaking job man!!! And yes, glass packs are still my favorite!! Got them on 3 of my trucks, but for me, the shorter the better! Course they only have the little 6's!

Been driving her for a few weeks now, she's awesome.
Carb is tuned real nice.
Found out the springs can't handle the power so I need to get some traction bar action going on.
You'll see in the video, she's a buckin' bronco. Sorry it's not a GoPro and only a hand held, but you'll get the idea.
Installed the new rear slider and freaking love it.

Thanks Mark she is.
BTW I just talked to Calvert Racing and will have a CalTracs style set up made for it.
Another OBTW
After living with it for a few months, I've decided the roll bar is outta here.
Just doesn't work with the truck.

Yeah, little late.
Just sent it in the other day.
Wouldn't be the first time on that.

Just looking out! Wouldn't like to see you "donate" to the California Improvement fund! Love your truck!

AWESOME to see her on the road Marc!

Every time the tires bark, we can hear the smile on your face.

Good stuff

Truck sounds awesome. I had a 76 F-100 stepside short box back in 1979. I know what you mean with the wheel hop. I got on mine one day and snapped a rear axle. Felt pretty stupid watching my rear wheel go past me while I came to a friggin halt.

You crack me up! Love the video. Next time I'll shoot our gatherings with the big camera, I'll need your help though as I need some driving shots of my truck. (Besides the GoPro) BTW I have the same rear slider.

I have one more area to take care of.
That's from the back of the transfer case back.
I'm thinking about a Gearvenders because I love to drive it to Vegas, NorCal and to Montana and Wyoming for my hunting trips.
And I have to install and finish up the locker. Putting in an ARB air locker.
After that I think I'll put a coat of clear over the rust spots like the hood.
THEN I think it will be a pretty perfect truck.
It's getting darn close now.
Oh and a rifle rack behind the seat.
