This was posted in the 6.7 forum by Cool1996.

"The TSB for the 6.2 trucks will be released in one week (according to the email i received) the recalibration is available with IDS 72.04 but the TSB will have the technician replace the "normally high" solenoids in the transmission if it is built before 11/19/10 as well as the recalibration performed."

That was posted today (5-7-11)

That may be a day late and a dollar short,But just wanted to make sure you guys knew it was out there.

I've had mine since December. So far it only has 1400 miles ,and was built prior to 11-17.As yet no tranny issues other than one incident of nuetral delay while accelerating in traffic. Overall Im happy with the milage and performance, so at this point I'll pass on the flash till I see some feedback on it. Im kinda hoping it aint broke so I dont have to fix it. The truck will be getting a workout next month, I'll have a better idea if theres an issue or not. Hopefully this fix works for those dealing with problems. Let us know.

I am sitting at the dealership right now typing this. They just finished the update and only took a hour. I will let you know how it goes, I'll take the long way home to see if I see any difference. They did tell me they just got the update 2 days ago, so it is the new one for the 6.2L.

Ok,drive home good. Can see a difference just on take off. WOT shift from 2-3 was at about 5800 RPM and sifted very smooth. 1-2 not problems and takes off great, much better then before.
They put TSB 110421 A on. Took about a hour from the time I pulled till I left.
Now only time will tell if it will fix the problems everyone else is having.

I asked my dealer and the service manager stated don't believe everything you read on the internet. I guess they are not aware of these issues. So far no problems with mine @ 3500.

That's because most dealers don't sell a whole lot of Superduty's, they focus on the smaller trucks. But they are there to make money so I kinda don't blame them, but they should still try to keep up.

I wonder what the "normally high solenoids" mean. My truck is from August, so it should be affected; just don't know what they mean by that phrase.
