What do you think, etiquette: painting ford letters on hubcaps?
#21
Low54 here was my truck with Blue painted wheels and plain caps
Here is the way she looks today with the wheel painted red and the caps red as well
One tip on lettering the caps. What I did was go to a commercial sign company and buy some red vinyl tape. My wife had two craft exacto knives. We sat in the garage one evening and this was the result on all four caps
The tape has been on there for 4 years with no problems. I am sure it can remove it and with a little adhesive cleaners the caps will look new again. Just a thought and plus if you have one you can get the spouse engaged into working on the truck. Just a thought. Best of success to you which ever path you take
