Fuel pump
Hi All
New to the web site. I have a 2004 f250 v10 super duty crew cab. My fuel pump went out last friday 5/20/11 so I had it towed to the dealer (I know bad idea) They checked it out told me my fuel pump went out and that it would be ready the next day. The next day they tell me that all New Remanufactured fuel pumps had been recalled and are having a hard time locating one for my truck and it would be Maybe June 5 they would get one. So now Im thinking of having it towed to a independent shop and have an aftermarket one put in if they can find one. So any suggestions .

Sorry to hear about the fuel pump. I've never had one replaced but I know that Airtex fuel pump kits can be had on Ebay for around $125. I'd head to an independent shop and either buy the pump for them or have them buy it online as well.
