Yeah, I've got several court rulings like that bookmarked. Honestly, cutting the tire/tyre off a widow maker is the best way to get the job done. I'll do a private message to the member that told me he had a set of the early F-2 16" x 6" one piecers for sale. They would have, back in the day, been used with tubes but will work just as well with tubeless radials. You may have to coat the inner surface with a sealer of some nature to ensure no air leaks around the rivets, but otherwise they are ideal for your truck. Stu

I see in the FTE classifieds that Kevin has sold his F-2/250 16" wheels. So scratch him off your list. There is another listing where a member is parting out a '53 F-250. You might try posting on his ad to see if he still has the wheels. Here's the ad.

If that's not successful, here's a couple web sites of yards I've bought from in the past. You might have success emailing them. Maybe others will have additional yard email addresses. Emailing would be a lot cheaper and easier for you than calling, so I've not listed yards that I don't have email addresses for. Stu

Thanks a lot Stu, you are a star...
I have bookmarked the salvage yards, although for larger parts like wheel rims the shipping costs might be prohibitive, but good for smaller parts such as - i need to repair the speedo in my truck and obtain some warning bulb holders for when i fit the turn signal lights..
Thankyou very much - you guys are great...
