Hello from a new member
My brother and I just pulled a 52 (we think) F4 out of a barn and not sure how to proceed.
There is no radiator, motor, bell housing etc.. We have looked at a 89 f350 and wondering if it would make more sense to put the 52 cab on the 89 chassis. F4 Cab is in great shape but rims, tires, brakes all shot as truck hasn't moved since 1974. Thanks for any thoughts

 

It is a lot easier to put a later motor in the earlier chassis than to put the earlier body on the later chassis. It has all been done, so you can get an idea about the pitfalls of each. I personally like flatheads so I would put one back in.
