Interchangable parts for 78-96 Broncos
Looking for interchangable parts ranging from suspension, engine, exterior, interior, etc.
Example:
-88 Bronco headlight to 90 Bronco (requires no mods)
-78 Ford F150 fender to 79 Ford Bronco (requires no mods)
Post all that you know and list if modification is required and at what level (none, minor, medium, major)

- Pictures would be nice
- How-tos would be a plus
- Expense (for modding) should be included too

Tops from 1980-96 are identical dimensionally. 92+ have the high mount stop lamp and the anchors for the rear seat shoulder harness seat belts. Mounting hardware changed from standard HHCS to T40 Tamper-proof Torx in 92 as well.
Front clip from 92+ will swap onto 87-91 with minor fabrication.
Rear bumpers from 1980-96 are damned near universal across the entire F-series line.
Taillight assemblies changed styling from 1980-96 but they will ALL swap.
Seats... and although I cannot be certain about pre-92 models, the holes for both bench and bucket seats are in the floor of 92-96 models. The unused holes are not tapped but filled with rubber plugs under the matting or carpet. So making the swap requires only moving the plugs from one set of holes to the other and tapping the previously unused holes.
Most glass with a minor exception for the vent windows in the doors between 87-91 models and 92+ models.
As a general rule, the 78-79's are just different enough to put them into a swap category of their own. Some things still swap as mentioned but most body parts are not even close.
